Aquarium Seafood Chinese Restaurant was established in 2006 by Kathy and Kelvin Keung on the premises of the former Lone Star Steakhouse. This is the third successive restaurant in Perth operated by these highly experienced restaurateurs who are originally from Hong Kong. With Aquarium Seafood Chinese Restaurant, the Keungs once again demonstrated their creative culinary passion by establishing a new marine-themed restaurant that draws richly from their expertise in the hospitality industry. Head Chef Kelvin Keung started as a humble apprentice who rose through the ranks at the legendary Regent Hotel in Hong Kong, where he served for more then a decade. As someone with indepth experience in all aspects of running five-star restaurant kitchens, Kelvin put his heart and soul into establishing a winning formula for running Aquarium Seafood Chinese Restaurant’s kitchen, from sourcing and storing to preparing and presenting feasts fit for kings.
Restaurant Manager Kathy Keung contributes to the winning team by taking care of all aspects of front-of-house restaurant management with creativity and gusto. Having served for years in the administrative department of Regent Hotel, Kathy translates her knowhow for creating luxury experiences into every detail that guests see, hear, feel, and touch at Aquarium Seafood Chinese Restaurant.
